1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you cannot do on the Talent Scales platform. It exists as its own document, separate from the Terms of Service, because it focuses narrowly on platform-abuse rules rather than the broader relationship between you, your employer, and Talent Scales. Read it alongside the Terms of Service, not in place of it.
2. Prohibited Conduct
When using Talent Scales, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated tools outside of our documented API.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying prompts, models, or scoring logic that power the platform's AI-assisted features.
- Attempt to access data belonging to a company other than your own employer. Talent Scales is built so that each client company's data stays separated from every other client's data. Trying to get around that separation, or accessing another company's information through any means, is prohibited.
- Use harassing or abusive language, or submit bad-faith content, in check-in responses, review text, or any other free-text field on the platform.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication requirements, or any other access control built into the platform.
- Use the platform to violate any applicable law, including employment law.
3. Consequences of Violation
Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination of your access to the platform. See the Termination section of the Terms of Service for how account termination works.
4. Reporting Mechanism
If you believe another user is violating this policy, contact us at legal@talentscales.com with as much detail as you can provide. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include investigation and account suspension.
5. Relationship to the Terms of Service
This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. It is not a standalone contract. By agreeing to the Terms of Service, you also agree to this policy.
